Pidempien matkapostausten kirjoittamiseen menee aina sen verran aikaa, että niitä tulee harvemmin kirjoitettua vaikka asiaa olisikin. Pariisistakin olen kirjoittanut tosi harvoin, vaikka täällä on tullut asuttua jo muutama vuosi! Niinpä ajattelin alkaa silloin tällöin vinkkailemaan näin lyhyemmin lempipaikoistani Pariisissa.
Yksi lempikaduistani Pariisissa on Rue du Cherche-Midi, jonka varrella sijaitsee ihanien kahviloiden, putiikkien ja leipomoiden lisäksi myös Chercheminippes- ketju. Koko kadullinen kirppareita siis! Yksi ketjun liikkeistä on erikoistunut miesten vaatteisiin, toinen kodintavaroihin, ja naisten vaatteille ja asusteille on useampi eri putiikki eri hintaluokissa, perusvaatteista couture-luomuksiin. Koska valikoima on hyvä on hinnatkin korkeampia kuin peruskirpparilla, mutta löytöjäkin voi tehdä. Täällä voi vierähtää tovi, joten parempi varata aikaa!

It takes so much time to write longer travel post that even though I enjoy writing them I don't do it that often. I just realized there is only a couple of posts about Paris! So I'm going to add a new feature called Paris Moments to this blog where I'm going to give tips about my favourite places in Paris.
One of my favourite streets in Paris in Rue du Cherche-Midi. On this street, you can find adorable little coffee shops, boulangeries and boutiques. But my favourite place is called Chercheminippes. It's a thrift store, or more like a whole street of thrift shops because they have 6 shops in this street! One of the shops is dedicated to men, another to home goods, and then there are several shops in different price ranges to women's clothing. Because the selection is well made the prices are maybe a bit higher than in your regular thrift store, but there are bargains to be made. An extra tip, however: be sure to have enough of time to score through all the shops!
